Every summer at Lake Royale NC – the community holds a themed event, where decorated boats, floats and contraptions float from the clubhouse beach to the pavilion beach. Floats are judged and other contests are had at the event all day long… usually ending in a limbo contest. The theme in 2023 was Gilligans Island.
