AMVETS (American Veterans) is the nation's most inclusive Congressionally-chartered veterans service organization, representing the interests of 20 million veterans. AMVETS is open to and fighting for all who honorably served in the United States military, including the Reserve and Guard. Each year, AMVETS holds a charity POKER RUN at Lake Royale, NC. People drive the golf carts to 5 different stations to randomly choose playing card, as they attempt to form a strong poker hand to win the game.
